1. Account cookies: purpose, retention and controls
Purpose. We use first-party cookies for account authentication, continuity of signed-in access and device recognition in connection with account security. These cookies serve account and security functions and are distinct from optional advertising cookies.
Retention. Authentication cookies may be retained on your device for up to 30 days, and device-recognition cookies for up to 400 days, unless they expire or are removed earlier. These periods describe cookie retention only and do not confer a right to uninterrupted account access. You may be required to sign in again or complete additional verification where reasonably necessary to protect your account.
Your controls. You may manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Restricting these cookies may affect sign-in and related account functions. Signing out ends your current sign-in session but does not necessarily remove device-recognition cookies. Expiry or deletion of a cookie does not, by itself, close your account or erase transaction records. The handling of those records and your applicable privacy rights are described in our Privacy Notice. Use of these account cookies does not constitute consent to optional marketing.
2. Browser storage and outside services
Your browser may save your wishlist choices and temporary information used to display and refresh prices. This is called local storage. Unlike an expiring cookie, local storage may remain until cleared by your browser, the website or you. Clearing it may remove local preferences; records saved in your account are separate.
Some pages load resources such as web fonts or location information from external providers. These requests may disclose your IP address and technical browser information to the provider. If you choose a WhatsApp or other external link, that service also handles information under its own terms and privacy practices. See our Privacy Notice for information about recipients and your rights.
We also store your selected website language on this browser so that pages can open in English or Bahasa Melayu according to your choice. You can change it using the language links or clear it through your browser settings. Selecting a language does not subscribe you to marketing.
The functional gf_language cookie stores only your English or Bahasa Melayu choice for up to one year so the server can show error and maintenance notices in your chosen language even when page scripts cannot load. It is not an advertising cookie. Your browser also stores this choice in local storage.
Our informational cookie notice uses per-tab session storage to remember when you close it. It appears in each new tab and may appear once more when you return to the home page at least three hours later in that tab. Closing the notice does not enable advertising cookies or change your marketing choices.
3. Analytics and your privacy
Account, cart and enquiry records support the services you request. Technical information, including IP addresses and request records, may also be processed to operate and protect the website, as described in our Privacy Notice. Optional behavioural profiling and partner marketing sharing are not enabled.
If we introduce additional optional tracking or personalised promotions, we will explain the information collected, its purpose, recipients, retention and your choices before it is used, and obtain consent where required. Accepting our terms does not give blanket permission for unspecified future monitoring.
4. Your controls and promotions
In your signed-in Profile, choose email newsletters, WhatsApp promotions and birthday offers separately, or unsubscribe from all optional promotions. These choices are off by default. Registration and acceptance of our terms do not subscribe you. Birthday offers require a selected promotional channel. Withdrawing a promotional choice does not stop necessary service messages about your account or purchase.
You can manage cookies and local storage in your browser settings; blocking essential sign-in storage can affect account access. Changing marketing preferences does not erase necessary purchase records. You can download your website account data in Profile and delete your account using Delete account in Security, with your password and email verification code. For other privacy requests, including records held outside your website account, contact us using the details in our Privacy Notice.
