1. Scope and seller
Goldfinch Jewelry is the trading brand of Goldfinch Jewelry Sdn Bhd (Company Registration No. 201301045454 (1075278-W)). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Goldfinch Jewelry Sdn Bhd. Our Headquarter and PJ Office addresses are set out under Questions or assistance below. These terms cover website use and purchases arranged with authorised customer service, including jewelry and physical gold, silver or copper bullion. Your written quotation and sale document will identify the seller, registration details and contact address. Please check these details before paying and contact us if anything is unclear.
New accounts, purchases, trade-ins and buybacks are restricted by company policy to adults aged 18 or above. We may require proportionate age and identity verification before a transaction. Optional marketing consent is not a condition of an account or purchase.
The website is currently an enquiry channel, not an online checkout service. A cart entry, saved item, enquiry reference or WhatsApp draft does not itself create a sale or reserve stock.
2. Accounts and communications
Provide accurate contact information and keep your sign-in details private. Do not share passwords or verification codes, impersonate another person or use an account for unlawful activity. Report suspected account misuse promptly. Account registration is required to use your cart; registration does not oblige you to buy.
Changing your password, deleting your account and signing out all browsers and devices require your current password and a one-time code sent to your registered email. A temporary password expires after 30 minutes and gives access only to setting a new password after email verification; the reset session lasts up to 15 minutes and does not extend the temporary password expiry. Use Forgot password or request a fresh temporary password if it expires.
Use the contact details published by Goldfinch Jewelry. Verify unexpected changes to bank details using a previously known contact number. Opening WhatsApp does not prove a message was sent or received. Send the message and obtain a reply when a response is needed.
3. Descriptions, indicative prices and stock
Check the specific metal, purity, weight, dimensions, workmanship, stones, finish and included certification in the quotation. Photographs may show representative pieces; screen colours and scale can differ. We will explain any significant difference between an illustration and the item offered to you and obtain your agreement before confirming the sale.
Displayed prices and availability are generally indicative. When you select bullion in the cart, the server holds its shown price for five minutes from the cart snapshot time. On expiry the cart refreshes prices, which you must review again. Confirming while the snapshot is valid records an enquiry and holds those bullion prices for ten minutes from its server-recorded time. After that, Goldfinch Jewelry may provide an updated price for your agreement. Neither price hold reserves stock or confirms a purchase. Customer service provides the itemised quotation, currency, charges and payment instructions. An accepted fixed-price sale is not repriced for a later market movement.
Featured, custom and clearance showcases are curated product selections, not a guarantee of a discount or a sales ranking. New-release selections use recorded release dates; category and budget selections use available catalogue information. Any displayed starting price may apply only to some variants. Confirm the specific item, any promotional benefit, eligibility and final price in your written quotation before payment. A showcase, banner or product selection does not reserve stock or confirm a purchase.
4. When your purchase is confirmed
Your purchase is confirmed after we verify your payment, check stock and quotation validity, complete any necessary checks, and send you written acceptance with your receipt or order confirmation. We then allocate the confirmed item to you. A payment acknowledgement while verification is pending is not an order confirmation or a stock reservation.
Your quotation states how long the offered price is available and when payment is due, in Malaysia time. It does not create a binding unpaid order or reserve the item. Any extension requires written confirmation. See our Prices, Payment and Order Confirmation policy. These terms do not override rights that apply by law.
5. Declined transactions and accepted sales
Before acceptance, a transaction may be declined for unavailable stock, expired quotation, incomplete or unverifiable payment, an error needing correction, incomplete necessary verification, or substantiated fraud or legal concerns. We will explain the outcome where legally permitted. A replacement, revised price or extension requires your agreement.
If payment has been received for a transaction we decline, we will arrange a full refund of the amount received for that transaction without a Goldfinch Jewelry cancellation deduction, except where a lawful hold or reversal restriction applies. An accepted fixed-price sale cannot be repriced merely because the market moves. If we cannot fulfil an accepted sale, we will promptly discuss a refund or agreed alternative without excluding other applicable remedies.
6. Returns, custom work and product care
Jewelry is not returnable, refundable or exchangeable simply because you change your mind. Read the jewelry purchase and after-sales policy. Bullion follows the bullion policy. Remedies required by applicable law for defective, wrong or misdescribed goods remain available.
For engraving, resizing, bespoke or other commissioned work, obtain written specifications, price, approval steps, lead time and applicable terms before paying. Follow care instructions and keep product documentation. Normal wear or customer-caused damage may require a paid repair, but statutory rights and any express warranty remain applicable. No fixed additional warranty duration is promised by these terms.
7. Website use and intellectual property
Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with services, submit malicious material, infringe others’ rights or misuse personal data. Goldfinch Jewelry and its licensors retain rights in protected content. You may retain your quotations, receipts and policy copies for personal records and exercise lawful consumer rights. These terms do not prevent truthful complaints, reviews, legal advice or reports to authorities.
8. Complaints, legal rights and changes
Contact customer service with your reference and the outcome you seek. You may use applicable regulator, tribunal or court channels; contacting us does not waive those rights. No clause excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If circumstances outside our reasonable control cause a delay, we will explain the situation and take reasonable steps to reduce its impact. This does not remove responsibilities that apply by law.
Malaysian law governs, subject to mandatory protections applicable to a transaction or customer. You may also have mandatory protections under the laws applicable to your purchase. Updates apply prospectively; we will not retrospectively change an accepted price or agreed transaction. English and Bahasa Malaysia versions are intended to be equivalent; ask for clarification before payment if they differ. Mandatory law prevails.
